Hi Jodi
I just wanted to drop
you a quick line so that you know what a terrific job I think you all do at the
guitar school.
Since the first lesson I've felt really welcome by everyone, (yourself, other
teachers & other students,) every time I walk in the door. It is the
complete opposite of an intimidating environment.
Also, I think my teacher is great. He is clearly passionate about music
and what he does, so it's hard not to get swept along with his enthusiasm.
At the same time he is incredibly patient and sincerely encouraging to everyone
in the class.
It's made a huge difference & I'm finding I'm really enjoying the class but
also enjoying playing at home and I'm feeling like I'm getting somewhere.
Thanks again for the service,
Regards
Sharon

1. You get a proven and experienced service!
2011 sees us celebrating our 13th Birthday. Having been in business that long, we know what works and what doesn't and can offer you a service which has been proven by experience. Our experience has made us specialists in group guitar lessons - an experience which we can pass onto you! But don't just take our word on it - in 2010 we won the Inner West Business Award for Community Education and we've been nominated for and made the finals in a variety of different business awards for the past 4 years. In 2007 we were named as one of the Top Five Businesses in the Inner West and in 2008 we were named as one of the Top 50 Coolest Companies in Australia!
2. You get properly trained teachers!
You can be guaranteed of quality teachers when you learn with us. All our teachers go through a rigorous screening and training program before they can start teaching with us. All teachers have had Working with Children Checks and are experienced musicians - with most performing professionally throughout Sydney on a regular basis.
3. You get to play in a group - not by yourself!
By learning in a group you learn how to play with others from the start (something that most musicians don't get to do for years). Playing in a group is fun, dynamic and entertaining. You can see how you are progressing without having to ask, won't be as intimidated as you could be in an individual lesson - and we guarantee you it works! We wouldn't have close to 400 students (and growing) if it didn't!
4. You get to learn real music - not nursery rhymes!
We believe that you are learning the guitar to have fun - and that you want to be able to play the music you like to be able to show off to your friends! Unlike many music schools - we don't teach you simple nursery rhymes. Yes we do teach you the basics and give you a strong understanding of theory - but we also believe in teaching you music that is modern and popular and takes into consideration the tastes of each student.
5. You get lessons that aren't just affordable - they're fun too!
Why do something if you can't have fun? Yes we are serious about our music and hope that you are too....but why should you compromise on having fun as well? Our style of teaching gives you the ability to play the guitar to the best of your ability and makes sure you have fun whilst you are doing it. And by offering group lessons, we can make our prices really affordable - without compromising on service!
6. You get taught via a proven method of teaching!
The way we teach is something that we have been working on and developing over the past 20 years - that's how long Matthew (our head teacher) has been teaching. He's created all our programs and it's his experience which has given us a proven method of teaching that works, is fun, and offers a proven way of learning for children, teens and adults!
7. It's all we do!
Unlike most music schools - teaching guitar is all we do! It's that simple! We only teach guitar and by doing so we can offer you a wealth of experience and knowledge in the instrument - making us specialists who can offer you a guaranteed commitment and a passion for what we do!
